Can I use my old keys?
Only if you buy the exact same brand (Schlage for Schlage, Kwikset for Kwikset) AND we rekey the new lock to match. If you switch brands, you must use new keys.
What is a 'Grade' of lock?
ANSI Grades measure durability. Grade 3 (Builder) = 200k cycles (Weak). Grade 2 (Residential) = 400k cycles (Good). Grade 1 (Commercial) = 1 Million cycles (Best). We recommend Grade 2 or 1 for exterior doors.
How long does it take?
Standard replacement takes 20-30 minutes per lock. Installing fresh deadbolts in new doors takes 45-60 minutes.
